Bitcoin transaction graphs are fully public and have been ingested by every commercial blockchain analytics firm currently operating. Monero transaction graphs are, in the strict protocol-level sense, not public. Ring signatures hide the actual sender among a set of decoys. Stealth addresses prevent any external observer from linking a recipient to a known wallet.
This asymmetry is the practical reason Anubis defaults to Monero. A Bitcoin deposit can in principle be linked to your funding KYC exchange months or years later if a future investigation pulls the records. A Monero deposit cannot be linked through any known clustering technique. The chain-analytics tail risk that BTC carries does not exist for XMR.
Use Monero. Anubis makes this the default; respect the default. Bitcoin is supported on the platform but actively de-emphasised through UI nudges and slower confirmation thresholds. Treat BTC support as a feature for someone migrating a legacy balance, not as the funding flow for a new account.
Feather Wallet on desktop. Cake Wallet on mobile. Official Monero CLI for paranoid setups. All three handle subaddresses, view-key import, custom ring sizes. Save the seed when the wallet generates it; do not type the seed into a browser form.
The deposit page on Anubis gives you a fresh subaddress for your account. Copy it (do not retype). Open your wallet, paste into Send, paste the amount, leave ring size at the default, broadcast. Two minutes to first confirmation, ten minutes to platform credit.
