Anubis Market dispute panel

The dispute panel is the platform third multisig signer. This is how arbitration works in practice on Anubis Market.

If an order goes sideways on Anubis, the dispute panel is the mechanism that resolves it. Either party (buyer or vendor) opens a dispute from the order page; the platform freezes the multisig contract; the panel takes ownership of the third key for arbitration purposes.

The flow

You open a ticket. You attach evidence (order details, tracking numbers, photos of received goods if applicable). The vendor sees the ticket, attaches counter-evidence. The panel reads both sides, weighs them against the published rule classes (item-not-as-described, partial-shipment, non-shipment, vendor error, buyer error), and signs to release funds in proportion to the ruling.

Most disputes resolve inside a working week. Published SLA on first contact (the panel acknowledging the ticket and reading the initial evidence) is measured in hours, not days. The panel is staffed against the published cadence; tickets queue in order of submission with a small priority for high-value disputes.

What buyers should know

If a package does not arrive past the listed delivery window plus a reasonable buffer, open a dispute. Do not treat a non-shipment as a sunk cost. The panel exists for this; using it costs you nothing and the protective architecture of the platform is most useful precisely in dispute scenarios.

Attach evidence. Attach all the evidence. The panel rules on what is in the ticket, not on what you think you remember. Screenshots, tracking numbers, photographs of damaged goods if applicable, vendor messages from the order conversation. The panel reads in order; the more compact and complete your filing, the faster it resolves.

What buyers should not do

Open frivolous disputes. The panel tracks dispute weight per buyer; buyers with frivolous filings see their dispute weight reduced over time. Use the system for actual problems, not for haggling over ship-out timing within the listed window.
